1. Why Color Hits First

Before a viewer notices shapes or composition, they instinctively react to color.
It bypasses logic and lands straight in the emotions - warmth, tension, calmness, excitement.

Color sets the expectation of a scene before anything else does.

A palette can:

Color becomes a director: it guides the eye and shapes emotional response.

4. The Secret Backbone: Value

The biggest insight: color only works if the value structure works.

5. Closing Thoughts

Color theory is both science and instinct.
Understanding its emotional weight lets you create visuals that not only look good - but feel intentional, atmospheric, and alive.
